2nd day: Lake Manyara National Park

Time to watch the game: 2 – 3 hours
The tour takes off after breakfast. Arusha Town was the first stop for last minute purchases before we left for the safari. Next we head towards Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a wide variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and even a lake. Thanks to this the small park can support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manayara has the highest number of baboons anywhere in the world and lions are famous for tree climbing. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House

Meals: lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast
Acceptance: Ngorongoro Farmhouse

3rd day: Ngorongoro Crater –

Arusha – Airport
Distance: 210 km
Time to watch the game: 3 – 4 hours
After an early breakfast, you descend into the crater for over 600 meters to view the wildlife. Backed by year-round water supplies and livestock, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card of this picturesque national park is the dense population, which includes lions, hyenas, foxes, leopards and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye. We visit Magadi Lake, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwest corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Large numbers of flamingos, hippos and other water birds are commonly found here. Transfer dinner to Arusha in the late afternoon and drop off overnight or at the airport. (Accommodation may be included on request at no additional cost)
